Baseball Saturday

I took Christopher to Mighty Mite Baseball practice. He had some one-on-one BP with coach Nate. Chris plays on the Hickory Rec Braves. There is a scrimmage game Thursday, May 30 at 6:30 PM with the Red Sox. I was asked to be a bench coach. Keep score and corral the kids. It was warm and he worked out hard. Christopher poured his bottle of water over his head.

We went to the library to check out Magical Tree house books #22, #23, and #24. Christopher has read all the others up to here. He really enjoys reading.

We had lunch at McDonald's over off US 321. Then to Glenn Hilton park. Reconnoitering for our Tiger Cub Meeting Monday.

Home briefly for a rest. Lisa and Sarah get home from the luncheon, they worked. Chris and I went to Crawdads Stadium for a Baseball workout with local coaches and some Crawdad players. The Turners were also there. We hung out and stayed for the ballgame at 7 PM against the Kannapolis Intimidators. The Crawdads won 4 to 3. Fireworks after the game. Home by 10:30 PM and the end of BASEBALL SATURDAY. Whew!
