Sometimes you get what you want, sometimes what you need.

On my way to work thinking, "Could sure use a little more money." and "I've lost some weight maybe I will indulge with KK doughnut."  Well, I stop and pump $40 plus in the car then head to the store.

The 32 ounce drink is 79 cents instead of the usual 99 cents. That is nice, thank you very much. I go to get my indulgence and there are no bags for the doughnuts.And no little papers to grab one. All these delicious doughnuts and no way to get it. Maybe I shouldn't, so I don't. Grab a pack of Lance cookies for 50 cents. Oh, well.

Go to register to pay for my drink and cookies and get my fortune. A big guy is waiting on the cashier to scan a pile of lottery tickets. No winners in the large pile of worthless paper. Maybe I don't need a lottery ticket after all.

Some times you get what you want, sometimes you get what you need.
