Wolf - September 28

Pack 1 Wolf Den,

Our second regular meeting is tomorrow Monday, September 28 at 6:30 PM at Corinth Church.

Have your scout bring one of his collections to show the others. This is an achievement towards the Wolf badge.

Let me know when you and your scout want to be in charge of a meeting's main activity. Riley and Johnny Kirby will have Oct 12 meeting. They will cover achievement 5A Identifying tools. You could arrange a visit, or cover one of the activities in the Wolf book.

We will be Scouttrack.com to keep up with your scout's achievements. It works the same as last year for returning Scouts. Evan Bledsoe will set up your account for new scouts.

See you tomorrow,
Scott

Wolf - Sep 21

Wolves,

Everyone who made it to our first regular meeting had a good time. Cameron and Grayson are new this year in our Den. We missed those who were not there.

Next week, your scout can bring his collection to show the others and then be able to sign off Wolf Achievement 6c. Some boys mentioned collecting several different things, but bring just one collection or portions of a collection.

We will be using Scouttrack.com again this year to track our achievements and electives. Your sign in and password will be the same as last year. It has been updated to do the Wolf. If you are new then the user ID is your first name and last name run together in lower case. Evan will send you a password.

The Pack is in need of someone to help with popcorn sales. It is all on-line. If interested, let Evan know. His email in the cc of this email.

See you next week,
Scott

Pack 1 Wolf Den

Good morning,

Our first regular meeting is Monday September 21 at 6:30 PM. The door will be open in the Fellowship building to the left of the church sanctuary. We will talk about earning the Wolf badge and some of the other electives for Wolf Cub Scouts.

Last year worked great with the adults taking charge of the main activity for the meeting. Monday, I will have a sign-up calendar for anyone wanting to run a meeting. Christopher and I have gone through the Wolf book and made notes about possible den activities to help in earning the Wolf badge. I will have a list of these ideas. Other ideas are welcome, because it is up to us to make it a great year.

Last year the boys just enjoyed being together and being with their adult partner.

Library

Chris and I went to the library for a book on Origami. He picked out a book with some very complicated pieces. We tried folding a George Washington model and I could not figure it out. Then we tried folding a frog given to us by Johnny at Cub Scouts. Could not figure it out, until Sarah came home and showed me where we folded wrong.

Lisa and Sarah went to dance class.

Tiger Cub Night

It was Tiger Cub night. We had most everyone one at the meeting. Johnny and
Riley Kirby lead the activites. They had us make a paper snowflake. Then
Johnny showed the boys how to make oragami cup, swan, and sailboat. He and
Riley also handout instructions for a hopping frog.

Lisa fell taking the dog out just before Chris and I got home. She was sore
from the fall.

I still got to watch my favorite TV show "The Big Bang Theory." It makes me
laugh outloud.

In bed by 9:30 PM, but I woke up at 3 AM for about 45 minutes. Lisa made me
an egg sandwich for breakfast and my lunch. Sarah was awake in bed and
Chris did not move when I tried waking him. Got to work by 7 AM.

Monday Must be Scouts

Tiger Scout Den meeting. Last one of the year. Chad Burel lead the scouts. We accomplished item 4D on our Tiger Trail.

Marking outlines of scouts on rolls of paper. And playing with styrofoam cups and ribbons to make phones.

Lisa took Chris to buy a Hot Wheel track with his birthday money at Toys-R-Us. He was really excited about playing with it. His mom made him finish his homework first.
