March Snow

Snowing since 11:30 AM at work in Lenoir. Could be tricky driving home.******* Weather man predicts up to 6 inches.

Problem with TV reception since a wind storm a couple of weeks ago. Rotor is not working and I am unable to tune ABC station - WSOC-TV 9 or is translator Channel 6 in Valdese. May not be able to see LOST tonight.

Four inches last night with most of it melting during the day.

Starting snowing at 4:15 PM on Friday January 29, 2010. It snowed through the next morning until 10 AM. I measured 7 inches. It has been very cold with little melting.

We sled with the neighbors in our backyard on Saturday. On Sunday, we go to Lowe's for a few groceries and newspapers.

January update

We had 8 inches of snow in December. Some of it is still melting. Today's temperature of 60 F should finish off any that is left.

Jeep is giving major problems. Two oil leaks are the latest problems. Must get another car soon. Driving Phil's old Camry to work for now.

Snow Begins

It begins snowing about 9 AM in Lenoir. The forecasters are predicting 16 inches of snow before it is all over.

Reading and Resting

Watched inaguration and other highlights on Newshour on PBS. Kids home from school for snow day. Half inch, maybe. (Two hour delay today. Start at 10 AM.)

Read some of Ted Dekker "Thr3e". Interesting so far. Lights out by 9 PM.

Snow & New President

Snowed last night and left half inch of snow. Kids school closed. I got to work on time. 7 AM.

Watched Barrack Obama inauguration at Nara restaurant on CNN. Saw oath and heard speech.
