I relish not sending Charter Cable a check each month. We have been without TV Cable for over a year. We get 19 digital channels over the air. We get more channels than the basic cable package for "free". The initial cost for antenna and wiring was minimal, but necessary due to our distance from transmitters.
Some local channels use their alternative channel for local weather and radar. Other have RTV service and some broadcast their lower powered "sister" stations in the area. There are 3 PBS channels with different programming for kids and adults.
We have DSL for our moderate internet use. It is packaged with our landline phone. We are able to view online shows missed over the air. OTA works!
