Out to dinner with the owner of a vendor. We went to Layar near the hotel. The main entree is at the front door in tanks with a cascade of water flowing from top to bottom. One can pick out their choice personally. Our host took care of choosing for us.
We enjoyed quite a variety of seafood: whole fish (one spicy and one steamed), crabs, prong, squid on a stick, and sweet & sour chicken. We had a appetizer of OT OT (in the Philippines it is called BUD BUD). It is a fish paste and pistachio cooked in a banana leaf. And served with a hot dipping sauce.
